Students at Dickinson Avenue Elementary School held up signs that read “Thank you for your service” during a live Skype session with the 855th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on Dec. 20.

Keeping with tradition, students and staff dressed in their most festive holiday gear and sang classic holiday songs like “Frosty the Snowman” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to Major St. Peter and his fellow service members.

“Our mission is one of inspiring hope, kindness and peace as we share our Dickinson Avenue community spirt with our servicemen and women,” Principal Laurie Storch said. “What a great moment for our students to share their voices with the U.S. Air Force.”
