Northport Middle School in concert with James Connor, an Eagle Scout candidate with local Boy Scout Troop 474, is hosting a STEM Challenge for 5th and 6th grade students on Saturday, October 21st from 9-11AM.  The event will consist of four 25-minute long science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workshops using hands-on activities. This is a drop-off event providing an opportunity for every student to participate in all four workshops, facilitated by teachers and/or professionals in each subject area.
This a great opportunity for students to engage in STEM in fun and interesting workshops.  There are only 100 spots available, so it's recommended that you sign up as soon as possible using the link below. If you have any questions, please contact or David Storch at

Middle School and Elementary Faculty & Administration:  Please communicate this opportunity to all 5th and 6th grade teachers as appropriate.
Mr. Hoss will be sending out a ConnectEd email on Tuesday, October 10 as well.
