Two Northport High School students – Danielle Levanti and Yoora Cho – were recently featured in a Brookhaven National Laboratory article for their participation in the Student Partnerships for Advanced Research and Knowledge, or Spark Challenge. 
The students researched different proteins and bacterium, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, and evaluated their effects on tick-borne diseases.
