Students, teachers and staff at Fifth Avenue Elementary School are keeping school spirits up. On March 23, teachers shared photos on Twitter holding signs reading, “We Miss You,” and “Stay Strong.” On March 30, they took those positive messages one step further and painted them on their car windows and drove through the community. Students waited at the ends of their driveways and waved happily to their favorite teachers and staff as they drove by.
Last week, staff encouraged students to submit photos of themselves and their siblings partaking in school spirit week, complete with pajama day. It was a great way for them to share their school spirit with the community.
