More than 100 Northport High School students were inducted into the high school’s chapter of the National Honor Society during a virtual ceremony on the evening of June 11.

During the course of their high school careers, the honorees have proven themselves worthy of a place in the National Honor Society. Each have maintained high scholastic standing, displayed leadership qualities and have given themselves “freely in service of others.”

Ms. Kaylie Lalota and Ms. Lynn Cromeyn commended the students on earning a place in the society and wished them much success in the future.

“The fact that we can’t be together today is certainly disappointing, but it does not diminish your accomplishments,” they wrote. “We are so proud of your hard work and dedication. Congratulation on earning you place in this society of honor.”
