ENMS 8th grader Andrew Mead received exciting news this week that his photo has been selected as a finalist for the American Geosciences Institute Earth Science Week photography content.
Andrew entered the photo to create awareness of water concerns in our community and across New York State. He submitted a photo of Watkins Glen and briefly described the importance of this geologic feature in NYS and how it is important to understand, conserve, and protect water. He was selected as a finalist and his photo is up for public viewing on the earth science week website. https://www.earthsciweek.org/contests/2021
Great job, Andrew!
