Northport High School’s Academy of Finance hosted their annual mock interviews for the junior class.  This event encourages students to think beyond the classroom and puts them in simulated interviews to test their business etiquette and ability to communicate their skills. 
Students dress professionally, prepare resumes and interview with an industry business partner to utilize their soft skills for internships.  A total of 41 interviewers and 74 students participated.  Principal Rob Dennis also participated in this event and saw firsthand the professionalism that was displayed by students.
  The Academy of Finance program focuses on college and career readiness for all of its members. Thank you to all involved; it was another successful Academy of Finance work-based learning experience.
