Northport High School student Connor Miranda, a student enrolled in the
SkillsUSA program, recently placed second in the program’s regional
digital film competition. Each pair of students enrolled in the program
were given the same story to report on. Students then had to use what
they had learned throughout the program to film, report, and produce the
best segment. Connor ran the camera while his program partner reported
on the story, and the students placed second in the competition. Connor
will be heading to the state level of the competition over April break.
Connor, a senior at Northport High School, has had a long-standing
interest in digital production and plans to pursue that field of study
in college.
Congratulations, Connor!
