The Northport High School athletics program was recently named a New York State School of Distinction — an honor awarded to schools, whose varsity teams earn an overall grade point average of 90 or above.
Every year, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association honors schools throughout the state that show exemplary athletic and academic excellence.
