  • Several college/university representatives will be visiting the high school counseling center this fall to give you information about their school. Today, LeMoyne College will be here 7th period, Johnson and Wales University will be here 8th  period and College of Charleston will be here 9th  period. Please take advantage of these visits to ask any questions you may have about these schools and remember to check the Naviance Student visit schedule frequently for updates.

  • Art Honor Society Seniors.  We will have a brief meeting today at 3 pm in Room A-109.

  • There will be a Science Olympiad Team information meeting today from 3:00 – 3:30 in room S-127. Please see Mr. Horan if you have any questions.

  • Interested in traveling to the Galapagos Island's this spring?  If you are enrolled in E-Team, AP Biology, AP Environmental or Marine Science, you have the opportunity to travel to the birth place of Evolution.  An information session is going to be held in the library tonight at 7:00pm.  Come with a parent and learn about the adventure of a lifetime.  If you have any questions see Mr. Kubik in room L-105.  

  • Are you looking to get involved? Do you create short videos with your friends? Do you have tons of followers on social media? Do you like attending school and sporting events? Do you have a voice that you want to be heard? If so we’d love for you to join us tomorrow morning at 7:20 in the lower library for the first meeting of Port Media- Northport High School’s news source. All are welcome to attend!

  • We will have our first Project VETS meeting tomorrow at 7:30 in H-219. 

  • Attention all boys interested in playing lacrosse in the spring: Please stop by the main gym immediately after school tomorrow to pick up important forms and information from Coach Searing.
    Join the Northport Student Union to get involved in school service projects and leadership training that can be used for résumés and scholarships.  The next meeting is Monday at 3pm in L-103.

  • The Multicultural Club will have its first meeting after school on Monday, September 24th in room H101.  Ms. Mollica and Ms. Contreras have planned several fun events, activities and field trips, so please join us this year in the fun! See you on the 24th!

  • Attention current National Honor Society Members- There will be a meeting Tuesday, September 25 in the high school auditorium beginning at 7:30am. Please be sure to check the website ( for future meetings as well.  Any questions please stop by A-125 and see Ms. Cromeyn or Ms. LaLota.

  • Attention all members of the class of 2022. Our first freshman class meeting will take place Wednesday, September 26, at 7:20 AM in the lower library. All freshman are welcome and encouraged to attend! Any questions? Please see Mr. LaMagna, Mrs. Klein or Ms. Milazzo.

  • Our first full DECA meeting will be Wednesday, September 26, after school.  See Mrs. Cogan in S223 with questions

  • Please come to the first meeting of Spanish Club on Wednesday September 26th. The meeting will be in H109 from 3-4. At this meeting we will discuss the upcoming year’s meetings and events. See Mrs. Argueta in H109 if you have any questions.

  • For all artistic students who would like to apply to the Art Honor Society, you must attend one of two mandatory meetings after school on Wednesday, September 26th or Thursday, October 4th. 

  • The girls Varsity Volleyball Team is sponsoring a fundraising game in honor of Danielle DeSimone. Our “Digs for Danielle” game will be against Walt Whitman on Friday September 28th at 5:45 in the main gym. Come out and show your support. Donations will be accepted at the door. Don’t forget to wear orange in support of Leukemia awareness. Go Tigers!
