My Life as an Educator

I've been science research coordinator at Northport High School since September 2003. Prior to coming to Northport, I was teaching chemistry for six years at Bayport- Blue Point High School. In addition to working at Northport, I teach graduate courses and conduct workshops for the School of Professional Development (SPD) and for the Long Island Group Advancing Science Education (LIGASE) at SUNY Stony Brook. The courses are titled, Science in the News, The Science in Science Fiction, Demonstrations for Chemistry Teachers and Chemisty for Elementary Teachers.

 

When I'm Not Working...

I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
