The annual Revolutionary War reenactment recently visited students at Northport Middle School and East Northport Middle School where they had a look back in time to what life was like during the 1700’s.

Members of war reenactment group Boots and Saddles visited Northport Middle School and arranged six stations, with groups of students rotating between them. Students learned about both the American and British perspectives on the war.

A highlight of the day included learning how to prepare the replica canon, with students racing to see who could complete the process the fastest.
