Congratulations to Northport High School senior Marcos Guerrero for being selected as a 2019-20 National Hispanic Scholar by College Board and Scholarship America.

Only 4,000 students out of 400,000 students who take the PSAT/NMSQT are selected for the program each year. Marcos earned a score of 1470 as a junior and was notified of his accomplishment upon entering his senior year in September.

After graduation, he plans to major in computer science – a passion that he has developed through the years as a member of the school’s Academy of Information Technology.
