Congratulations to senior Emily Maloney, who was recognized at the Feb. 15 Board of Education meeting as the Rotary Student of the Month for Social Studies! Emily was described as a dedicated and analytical student who has taken a multitude of social studies and history courses. She is also credited with advocating for a Northport High School chapter of the National Social Studies Honor Society. 
Emily has hopes of becoming a history teacher in the future. Congratulations and best of luck, Emily!
