On Wednesday, Oct. 9, 350 ninth grade students from Northport High School went out into the Northport-East Northport community and beyond to participate in community service projects as part of the building’s annual Community Service Days.
Among the many places students visited to lend a helping hand were the Asharoken Beach, Atria East Northport, Crab Meadow Beach, East Northport Library, Hobart Beach, Northport Food Pantry, Northport Library and our district elementary schools, among other locations.
This was a first of four community service days hosted by the high school which will be held for the remaining three grades in the coming weeks.
