East Northport Middle School special education teacher Katie Lake was recently named a Long Island School Hero Honoree by the Long Island Coalition Against Bullying.

This award is given to educators that go above and beyond to make an impact on the lives of their students.

“I am deeply grateful for this recognition and inspired to continue fostering a positive impact in education,” Ms. Lake said.
