Northport-East Northport recently hosted the annual English Language Learners (ELLs) Thanksgiving Luncheon, a celebratory family engagement event where the District celebrates the recent program graduates K-12.

ELL students across all seven district schools came together to see friends and enjoy a shared Thanksgiving meal served by district staff. Families of ELLs were also invited to attend and join their children at the celebration. 

Chairperson for World Language and ENL Jennifer Nesfield welcomed the students and expressed her gratitude for them sharing their cultures with staff and peers, and her excitement to share a piece of American culture with them in return.
